The Hietasaari Archery Range is Oulu’s open‑air arena for archery enthusiasts. This spacious outdoor field offers excellent conditions for shooting at various distances and targets, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced archers. The range regularly hosts competitions and events, and its peaceful natural surroundings create a focused, enjoyable training atmosphere. 

The range is easy to reach: by car it’s just over 5 km from the city centre, while walking or cycling covers only about 3.5 km. You can also take bus 15, which stops roughly one kilometre from the archery field. Hietasaari combines nature, movement and the joy of precision — everything that makes archery truly special.
