1. Angel-Adorned Chalice Veil
A silk chalice veil from the 18th–19th centuries, decorated with angels. The veil came to the Old Church from the Ulrika Eleonora Church. At the center of the veil is a raised embroidery of a crown of thorns, within which is the IHS monogram and two crossed palm fronds. Above the IHS monogram, a small Latin cross has been sewn using gold-colored metal sequins.
Around the crown of thorns are rays of light, composed of gold-colored metal sequins and threads. In addition, the edges of the veil are decorated with angel motifs, executed in raised embroidery with gold-colored metal threads and sequins.
