The Old Church celebrates its 200-year history!

In 2026 the Old Church turns 200-years old. The church will host various events throughout its jubilee. These events highlight both the cultural significance of the building and the many stories that have unfolded within its walls.

The church was first meant to serve only briefly, yet its wooden structure has endured far longer than planned and became a lasting part of Helsinki for now over two centuries.
