Hietajärvi

Hietajärvi is a beautiful lake with a sandy beach in the PallasYllästunturi National Park. Hietajärvi is a popular destination for hiking trips and suitable for the whole family. There is a sheltered campfire site beside the beach where you can rest and eat lunch. The route to Hietajärvi starts from a parking area located south of the Ketomella bridge along the Ounastie Road. The trail to Hietajärvi is 2.5 km long.
