Carina Granlund, Untitled
PaintingVisual artist Carina Granlund (1967-) lives and works in Mustasaari. She received her bachelor’s degree in fine art in 1992 and has since exhibited in Finland and abroad.
Granlund works as an artist, printmaker, and book artist. She seeks to visualize her thoughts and her view of the world through her art. The core of her work is based on bitter and sweet moments from her own life and the lives of others. In the printmaking process, she explores chance possibilities, colours, patterns, and forms. The artist draws inspiration from song lyrics and from her daily drawing in sketchbooks.
The painting was part of Roger Broo's art collection, which was donated by Harriet Silius in 2021.
