The largest flag of Finland

In Hamina, the centennial of the Finnish flag was celebrated on Finland’s Independence Day in 2018 by raising the Great Finnish Flag, a gift from other nations, in a specially constructed, extraordinarily tall flagpole. The flag flies proudly every day, around the clock. The flagpole received a permanent permit in December 2019.

The Great Finnish Flag is a part of the Hamina Flag World, which also includes the Flag Tower, Flag Park, Flag Center, and the Path of the Finnish Flag artwork.
