Oulun Harrastekiekko ry – youth ringette (OHK Icebreakers) 🏒✨ 

Welcome to try ringette and get moving on the ice in a friendly group! The Icebreakers group is open to everyone – both beginners and more experienced players 😊 

Ringette is a fast-paced ice sport played with a ring and a stick. The objective of the game is to score goals by shooting the ring into the opponent’s net, while passing it between teammates. Teamwork and constant movement are at the heart of the game. There is no body checking, which makes the game smooth and safe, and everyone gets to take part actively. Ages 12–17 – both beginners and more experienced participants are welcome

Getting familiar with the equipment and relaxed play on the ice ✨ 

👟 What to bring: 

• Skates and a helmet 
• Gloves (regular gloves are fine – no need for specific ringette gloves) 

 Oulun Harrastekiekko ry offers relaxed and enjoyable recreational games for adults and children, continuing a strong tradition since 2018.

We promote opportunities for people in Oulu to enjoy ice hockey and other ball games in a friendly, low‑pressure environment — without competitive goals, focusing instead on fun, activity, and community.

We are a proud member of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, the Finnish Ringette Association, and the Finnish Floorball Federation.
