Oulun Invalidien yhdistys

Oulun Invalidien Yhdistys ry (OIY) has been a strong voice for equality in the Oulu region for nearly 90 years. Founded in 1937, the association works to promote the wellbeing, inclusion and equal rights of people with physical disabilities and mobility impairments.

OIY safeguards its members’ rights, strengthens opportunities for participation and community, and builds a more accessible everyday life. The association also serves as a link between the public sector, local businesses and its members — especially in matters of equality and accessibility.
