Dora Jung’s Tapestry: Duke John and Catherine Jagiellon

The linen tapestry by textile artist Dora Jung on the wall of the chamber was commissioned for the celebration of the completion of the castle's restoration in 1961. The subject of the tapestry is the wedding of Duke John and Princess Catherine Jagiellon in Vilnius in 1562.
