Collection Exhibitions in the Main Castle

On this tour, you will explore the exhibition halls on the uppermost floor of the Main Castle and treasures from the collections of the Turku City Museum. The guide takes you through the entire attic level, one room at a time. To learn more about a particular room, select the icon labelled with that room’s name.

After reading the information about the room, return to this Collection Exhibitions in the Main Castle home screen and select the next room.

To proceed along the route, follow the signs in the rooms and read any directional instructions provided in this guide between the room-specific icons.

Please note: The numbers displayed on the walls of the rooms along the route differ from the numbering used in this guide.

Begin the tour by proceeding to the Northern Exhibition Hall.

From the end of the Northern Exhibition Hall, the route continues down the stairs to the East Tower of the castle.

To continue your tour of the main castle, first go down a few steps from the room and then go up the stairs to the Southern Exhibition Hall.

After visiting the Southern Exhibition Hall, you will have completed the full tour of the Main Castle. Descend the staircase and return to the Entrance Hall of the castle.
